Hajia Bintu has broken her silence on her rumoured romantic relationship with SM boss, Shatta Wale.
Rumours encircling the duo have been rife in recent times, especially after they joined forces on the music video for Wale’s song dubbed Hajia bintu, a song he penned that paid homage to the popular Ghanaian socialite whose incredible physique has become her distinctive brand.
While in the studios of United Television (UTV), Hajia Bintu revealed that the Reggae/Dancehall specialist is her godfather and there’s no way she could sleep with him.
She said the honcho of the vociferous Shatta Movement respects her a lot mutually and that is all there is to it. She eventually told the interim host of the United Showbiz programme Vicky Zugah that the allegations are false.
Meanwhile, ‘Adulthood Anthem’ hitmaker Lade has said Shatta Wale’s popularity makes him stand out.
In a report originally shared by YEN Ghana, the singer who is looking forward to working with Ghanaian mainstream artistes however admitted that she is not very much into the SM boss.
She said since she is an emerging artiste, her focus on GH artistes revolves around the young ones like Black Sherif and the likes.
As a matter of fact, Lade whose real name is Oyetundun Omoladé Rachael has hinted that she will love to work with Black Sherif, Gyakie, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.
“I listen to Sarkodie. Black Sherif is bosting my head. He’s an amazing artist. I listen to Gyakie as well. Stonebwoy too, YEN quoted her.
“There’s just something about their sound. I feel like if we do a song together, straight hit. Inbox. You don’t have to think about it. They’re amazing,” Lade said.
Speaking on Shatta Wale, Lade said although the SM boss is also a very popular artiste in Nigeria, she is not into his music because she only follows the younger ones.
“Who doesn’t know Shatta Wale? Honestly, I’ve not really paid so much attention to Shatta Wale. Because I’m young and most of the people I pay attention to our young people coming into the game,” Lade said when asked if she knows Shatta Wale.
